From the large video installation on Pellizza da Volpedo’s “Fourth Estate” at Malpensa International Airport (watched by nearly one million passengers during Expo2015) to the didactic-interactive installation in the small museum or specialized art gallery, we create engaging, modern and exciting installations for education or entertainment, as well as all the content necessary to make them highly effective tools through the emotion and first-person involvement of the viewer
The possibility of virtually visiting inaccessible places rich in art and fascination while feeling immersed in history and man-made beauty... Expressing the curiosity that drives us to examine a painting or a fresco down to the smallest details... And the excitement of being able to fully examine very rare or delicate objects from a collection that is difficult to reach, are just some of the possibilities that the new technologies of immersive visualization, ultra-high resolution photography, 3D modeling and visual interaction can offer us. Technologies that do not exclude the fascination and excitement of the first-person visit, but rather help us understand and remember, intriguing and exciting new generations to the fullest and making us all even more involved and participating
VTs offer us a new way to visit inaccessible places such as, for example, what was once the home of Pelizza da Volpedo, now a private residence, or a Domus not open to the public at the Ostia Antica excavations. Places that are too far away in space and time, such as the beautiful Great War exhibition at the Palazzo Blu in Pisa a few years ago or an art gallery or museum to be reviewed after a visit in person to remember, examine more carefully or to get excited again and more
A Photomosaic or “Gigapixel” (of a painting or fresco, for example) is a very high resolution photographic reproduction generated by combining several images of the details of a work.
The definition achieved with this technique makes it possible to appreciate details and details that are often invisible even in person. An extremely useful technique for the study, popularization, and preservation of artistic heritage, capable of enthusing and suggesting a new appreciation and a modern and profound enjoyment of works of art
Collections of virtual objects that are impossible to reach but that we can rotate and observe from all sides with the movement of a mouse or our fingers on a touch-screen, give us a chance to observe precious and delicate objects, perhaps even better than if they were in our hands
